Why I'm Loving My New Beautyrest Mattress
We just made such an amazing update in our bedroom! Dan’s back was bothering him. I had a stiff neck. It was time for a mattress upgrade. We decided to try out Beautyrest’s Harmony Lux Hybrid mattress, with the cooling and comfort upgrade, and OH MY GOODNESS what a difference! Dan keeps saying how he feels like he’s melting into the mattress and its exactly right. This mattress has ContourFit design which means there are layers of memory foam and HD foams under the top panel. This is why we feel like we’re melting into a soft cushion of support. It’s so good!
There is also a Precision Support System with coils in the center of the mattress where our bodies need it the most. So its not too hard, not too soft, but juuuuust right! I sound like Goldilocks. Ha!
So not only does this mattress make us sleep better than ever, its also great for our planet. Dan has been known to walk trash back to people and tell them they dropped something if they litter. True story. And I love that about him! We both care about our planet and try to make choices to do our part to keep it healthy. Beautyrest launched its Harmony collection in partnership with SEAQUAL last year to help clean up the oceans. The collection has converted more than 3.8 million plastic bottles from the ocean into luxury fabric in 2020 alone. Something good DID happen in 2020 after all... ;) expects to collect and use over 23 million more bottles from the ocean in 2021. Amazing right?! (Snoop is happy his sea creature friends are being helped out too. Can’t you tell? )
Since we got a great new mattress, we decided to make my mattress dreams come all the way true and ordered the adjustable base!!! Guys! You’re gonna laugh but I have been wanting an adjustable base since I gave birth and had the adjustable bed in the hospital and saw how convenient and comfortable that made watching tv, reading, etc. My dream has been realized!! It’s everything I’d hoped for! My lounging in bed in absolute comfort fantasies have come true!! Hahah!
*Installation note: If you have a platform bed and decide to get an adjustable base, you’ll need to take everything out of the middle and just leave your side rails. If you have that ready for the delivery service, they’ll be able to set it right up for you! Since the base will be what’s actually holding you up, the center supports are no longer needed. Its the only way to make it fit and it works so well. It came with adjustable legs so we were able to put it at a height where you cant see it at all! It’s awesome!
